The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) confirmed this Tuesday that striker Vinícius Júnior will not be suspended after his expulsion in the game against Valencia, last Sunday, for the spanish league. The Brazilian was the target of racist demonstrations by the opposing crowd and left the field outraged by the red card.

The entity considered that the suspension of Vinícius was not fair because the player from Real Madrid being unbalanced by verbal aggression, which became recurrent in the last season. In addition, the RFEF stated that the VAR’s action in the situation was incorrect and partial, and cannot be considered as human error.

The Federation also announced punishments against Valencia by the racist manifestations of the fans. The club will have to close one of the Mestalla stands for five games and will be forced to pay a fine of 45,000 euros (R$ 241,000 at current prices).

In a statement, the RFEF explained that the banning of the Mário Kempes stand, in the south sector of the stadium, is due to the referee’s report on the score sheet about the racist screams during the match for the Spanish Championship. Valencia will be able to file an appeal to reverse the decision within ten working days.

With that, Carlo Ancelotti will already be able to count on Vini Jr. this Wednesday, in a duel for the next round of the Spanish Championship. Real Madrid will face Rayo Vallecano away from home, at 2:30 pm (Brasília time).

At 25 minutes of the final stage of the confrontation against Valencia, fans present at the Mestella chanted racist chants directed at Vini Jr. The Brazilian identified one of the fans who offended him and had to be held by his teammates.

Already in additions, the player was expelled. The attacker got involved in a mess with players from the rival team. He received a red card for hitting Hugo Duro with his arm. The reaction came after the Brazilian was held by the neck by the same player during the discussion.
