Fitness expert advises cardio training to strengthen the cardiovascular system
Trainer Anastasia Yurkova named exercises that strengthen the cardiovascular system. Her words are quoted by Gazeta.Ru.
According to the expert, cardio training combined with relaxation exercises is especially beneficial for health. “Evened cardio is long (30 minutes or more) cardio workouts with a uniform pulse in the zone of 50-70 percent of the maximum heart rate (HR),” she noted.
Yurkova also advised doing interval cardio training. “By alternating intervals of increased intensity (pulse 70-90 percent of the maximum heart rate) and quiet intervals (pulse 50-70 percent of the maximum heart rate), we create conditions for training the heart muscle and vascular smooth muscles,” the fitness expert explained.
Earlier, fitness instructor Sergei Trukhin recommended simple exercises for office workers. The trainer suggested smoothly turning the head to the side, raising and lowering the shoulders. The specialist also recommended to perform tilts and twists and do not forget about hand exercises.
