Representatives of Barcelona commented on the video message of the club’s players Alex Balde and Sergi Roberto to the Russians. It is reported by Sport.es.
The team explained that the video was recorded during a meeting of the players with representatives of foreign media broadcasting matches of the championship of Spain. Employees of Okko Sports asked the players to record a video for Russian fans – the athletes agreed without asking permission from the leadership of La Liga and the organizers of the event.
Earlier, Balde and Roberto addressed the fans from Russia and thanked them for their support. The players noted that the fans are part of the success of the team, which became the champion of Spain in the 2022/2023 season.
The statement of the players in a conversation with Interia Sport was condemned by their Polish teammate Robert Lewandowski. Dynamo Kiev, in turn, offered Barcelona to move to the Russian Premier League.
