Fury’s father named the most dangerous opponent for a boxer

Tyson Fury’s father says Zhang Zhilei is a more dangerous opponent than Usyk

The father of the British boxer Tyson Fury John called the most dangerous opponent for his son. The words of Fury Sr. are quoted by Express Sport.

According to the athlete’s father, the most difficult task is the fight against the Chinese Zhang Zhilei. “I told Tyson, ‘Forget Usyk, Zhang is more dangerous because Usyk doesn’t have the power to knock you out,'” Fury said. He noted the great growth and strength of the Chinese boxer and added that he was looking forward to a possible fight between his son and Zhilei.

On April 22, it became known that Fury plans to defend his World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight title this summer. The fight should take place on July 15 or 22. It was reported that Zhilei or American Andy Ruiz Jr. could become a rival for the Briton.

On April 29, Fury was supposed to meet with the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. Negotiations have been going on since the fall of 2022, but the athletes have not been able to agree on the distribution of fees.

Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. Zhilei has 25 wins, one loss and one draw.
