Reuters: 2024 Games organizers plan to place Olympic torch on Eiffel Tower

At the same time, it remains unclear whether the flame will be placed on the tower for the duration of the Olympics. The representative of the organizing committee did not deny the idea of installing the Olympic flame on the Eiffel Tower. He also added that the location of the fire on the opening day of the Olympic Games has not yet been determined.
The Paris Olympic Games are scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024. The decision on the admission of Russians to the competition has not yet been made.
