Ukrainian boxer Vasily Lomachenko lost to the undisputed world lightweight champion, American Devin Haney. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.

The fight took place in Las Vegas, USA, and lasted 12 rounds. The fight ended with Haney winning by unanimous decision. Thus, the American defended the World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), WBA Super and The Ring world titles.

On October 30, Lomachenko inflicted the first loss of his career on American Jamaine Ortiz. The fight took place at a tournament in New York and ended with the victory of the Ukrainian by unanimous decision of the judges after 12 rounds.

In total, in his career, the 35-year-old Ukrainian won 17 victories and made three defeats. The 24-year-old Haney has 30 wins and no losses.
