Spartak Moscow wins Napoli and rolls group in Europa League

This Wednesday, Spartak Moscow and Napoli faced each other for the fifth round of the Europa League group stage. In Russia, Portuguese coach Rui Vitória’s team won 2-1, with two goals from Alexander Sobolev. Elif Elmas cashed for the Italians.

With the result, both teams are left with seven points, in the first two positions. Leicester and Légia face off this Thursday, at 17:00 (GMT).

In the next round, Napoli will host Leicester City, on December 9, at 2:45 pm (GMT). Spartak Moscow, in turn, visits Légia Warsaw, on the same day and time.

The game – In the first half, the hosts opened the scoring after just two minutes. Stanislav Lobotka, from Napoli, committed a penalty. Alexander Sobolev converted the charge.

At 28 minutes, the Russians expanded. Victor Moses crossed for Sobolev to score his second goal of the game.

In the second stage, at six minutes, Di Lorenzo even sent the ball to the net, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

Already at 19, Andreas Petagna assisted Elif Elmas to send it to the back of the net and reduce it to the Italians.
