The defender Dani Carvajal, from Real Madrid, recognized this Wednesday, after the 4-0 loss to Manchester Cityfor the second leg of the Champions League semifinals, which the English team was superior to throughout the match.
“The opponent was better in this second leg from start to finish, they put a lot of pressure on us and the result shows that,” said Carvajal in an interview with Movistar+.
“We lacked a little, I wouldn’t say in attitude, but I think we played behind at the beginning. When the team advanced after the break, we had our best moments”, he analyzed.
“We knew that this field is very difficult, that they are very strong here, after the feeling of the first leg, we thought we were going to have a better game with the ball”, said Carvajal.

“It’s a shame we’re not in another final, we have to raise our heads, there’s a long way to go, we have very young people, people who want to conquer many things and we’ll come back stronger”, he concluded.
