Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova will hold an exhibition fencing match as part of the Moscow Sports Day. It is reported by “Championship”.
Zagitova’s opponent will be two-time Olympic champion Sofia Velikaya. The meeting will take place on July 1 at the Luzhniki sports complex and will begin at 14:30 Moscow time.
In 2022, the figure skater held a boxing sparring with two-time Olympic champion Oleg Saitov. “Alina Zagitova won by unanimous decision, and I congratulate her on this,” the boxer shared his impressions.
Zagitova suspended her sports career in December 2019. The figure skater focused on the work of the host in the Ice Age TV show, as well as performances in ice shows.
