219 kilometers has the route of the eleventh stage of the Giro d’Italia 2023what is the longest of this edition of the race and the Wednesday May 17. Participants will leave Camaiore and will end the day in Tortona, on a day that presents a flat route in its first part, but whose layout becomes more complicated, with constant ups and downs, in its decisive section. According to the organization of the race, La Spezia, at the entrance to the Ligurian Apennines, will mark the beginning of the part of the stage in which the route will have more difficulties for the peloton. The runners will travel through the Ligurian Apennines through the Passo del Bracco and the Colla de Boasi, with narrow roads and numerous curves.

The race then passes through the valley, and enters the plain of Alessandria, with the Passo della Castagnola. The final part, the last 30 kilometers, are covered on wide roads.

The Passo del Bracco, at kilometer 60, in category 3, the Colla di Boasi, also in category 3, at kilometer 143, and the Passo della Castagnola, in category 4, at kilometer 176, make up the set of mountainous difficulties that will to overcome the cyclists, in this eleventh stage of the Giro.
