Former footballer Roman Berezovsky compared the salaries of players in the championships of Russia and Armenia. His words leads “Championship”.
Berezovsky said that a few athletes in Armenia receive up to ten thousand dollars a month. “And so the average salary, as I heard, is three, four, five thousand. In the Russian Premier League (RPL), in my opinion, the bulk of the players get much more, ”he said.
Berezovsky played for the Armenian Shengavit and Syunik, as well as for the Russian Zenit, Torpedo, Dynamo and Khimki. In addition, the football player has been playing for the Armenian national team for 20 years.
Earlier, the former head coach of Zenit Vlastimil Petrzhela compared the level of salaries of football players in Russia and Europe. “The best players in Russia are paid the same as the best players in European leagues. The rest is average, as elsewhere in Europe,” he said.
