Bayern Munich’s goals against Schalke 04
Needing to win to increase the distance in the lead of the national, Bayern Munich imposed its strength indoors and went on the attack. Thus, he opened the scoring in the 21st minute, with Thomas Muller. The 33-year-old striker matched with Sané, who only managed to make it 1-0 for the number 25 to hit Schwolow’s left corner first.
Seven minutes later, the Bavarians’ advantage was extended with Joshua Kimmich, from the penalty spot. Musiala made a solo play, invaded the area and was brought down by Cedric Brunner. When charging the maximum penalty, the defensive midfielder only moved the opposing goalkeeper to score the second goal for his team.
On the way back from the break, Bayern needed just four minutes to score a third. João Cancelo made a beautiful individual move on the left end, left the marker on the ground and passed to Serge Gnabry to dominate free inside the area and hit low and write down the 3-0 on the scoreboard.
At 20 minutes, Maya Yoshida made a bad back to the Schalke 04 goalkeeper, and Gnabry, attentive in the move, accelerated, kept the ball, invaded the area and dribbled the opposing goalkeeper to turn Bayern Munich’s victory into a rout. At 35 minutes, Musiala stole the ball in the offensive field and activated young Mathys Tel in the area, who hit Schwolow on the way out to make the fifth for the hosts.
Finally, in the match’s stoppage time, at the 47th minute, Pavard passed to Mané, who scored the first goal for Mazraoui to come face to face with the opposing goalkeeper, scoring the sixth goal and giving final numbers to the confrontation.
