the coach of Paris Saint Germain, Christophe Galtier, confirmed that Lionel Messi will start the next starting game. The Parisian club faces Ajaccio this Saturday, at 4 pm (Brasília time), for the 35th round of the French Championship.

“(Messi) will start tomorrow. Leo is Leo. He has interesting numbers. I spoke to him on Tuesday to find out how he was doing and I saw that he was calm, motivated and willing to win again. We welcomed him again with great enthusiasm. He trained and wants to play. About the punishment, I have nothing to say”, commented Galtier at a press conference.
In early May, Lionel Messi was suspended by PSG for traveling to Saudi Arabia and consequently missing one of the team’s training sessions. Later, the Argentine star apologized through his social networks.
Galtier was also questioned at the press conference about recent protests by Paris Saint-Germain fans against Messi and Neymar, in particular. However, the coach preferred not to go into too much detail.
“It’s a decision I won’t comment on. I’d rather have better news because their support is important. The atmosphere at the Parc des Princes is totally different with them. Still, there will be other fans and I hope they help us,” he opined.
