Former Spartak and Dynamo player Alexander Karakin crashed to death in an accident near Moscow. This is reported by the Telegram channel SHOT.

The incident occurred on the night of May 12 at the 30th kilometer of the Minsk highway during street races, which are held there weekly. The ex-football player in a Nissan GTR car lost control and crashed into a bump stop at high speed, after which he flew into the middle of the road.

As a result of an accident, 32-year-old Karakin was hospitalized in serious condition. He was in intensive care, but the doctors could not save him, the ex-athlete died on the morning of May 12. The operator was in the car with him. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Karakin is a graduate of the Moscow “Spartak”. He played for the youth teams of red and white and Dynamo, and also played for Khimki near Moscow. In 2018, Karakin ended his professional career.
