Spanish broadcaster broadcasts conversation between alleged victim of Daniel Alves and police

This Thursday, the Spanish broadcaster Telecinco released exclusive audios of a conversation of the alleged victim of Daniel Alves in a rape case, which would have happened in December last year. In a conversation accidentally recorded by one of the police officers who went to the club that happened in Barcelona (ESP), the 23-year-old girl claims to have voluntarily gone to the bathroom, but that there she was cursed and attacked by the player after asking to leave the premises.

“I voluntarily went into the bathroom and after a few kisses I told him I wanted to leave, but he said no and closed the latch. [da porta]. He started saying nasty things to me like ‘you’re my little bitch’ and started hitting me. He threw my bag on the floor, grabbed me by the clothes and hit me,” the young woman said, in tears.

Due to the girl’s difficulty in talking to the agents, due to the short space of time between the event and the statement on the spot, a friend intervenes in the conversation and confirms that “there was penetration”.

With the victim’s report and confirmation from her friend, the police officer decides to call an ambulance and encourages the girl to report what happened. She, however, commented, desperate and crying:

“I don’t want publicity for what I went through. No one will believe me because they’ll see on cameras that I voluntarily went into the bathroom,” he declared.

After that, the battery of the security camera ran out and the image recording was cut off. However, vehicles that follow the case closely claim that it is an audiovisual document “important, forceful, firm and essential in the investigation of the Daniel Alves case”.

With a second request from the defense of Daniel Alves for the athlete’s freedom denied by the Spanish Justice this week, the player remains preventively detained in Barcelona, where he has been since January 20 and must remain until the end of the investigations. The athlete’s judgment still does not have a date to happen.
