President of the Moscow basketball club CSKA Andrey Vatutin estimated the timing of the return of the beaten basketball player of the team Alexei Shved to the site. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the functionary, the season for the athlete is over. “He will recover at home,” Vatutin said, emphasizing that he does not know the exact timing of Shved’s return to training.
On May 5, a court in Moscow arrested four suspects in beating a basketball player. 20-year-old Prince Amirslanov, his 17-year-old brother Ramzin, their driver Yusuf and 19-year-old Gleb Pisarev were sent to a pre-trial detention center until July 2. The defendants were charged under Part 2 of Article 213 (“Hooliganism committed by a group of persons with the use of violence against citizens”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The attack on Shved became known on May 2. As a result of a fight at the entrance to a restaurant in the center of Moscow, the basketball player received a head injury. At the hospital, he was also diagnosed with retrograde amnesia, a fracture of the temporal bone, and an epidural hematoma.
