The head of Formula 1, Stefano Domenicali, ruled out holding stages in Russia. It is reported by RAN with reference to the German Bild.

“We will no longer negotiate with them,” Domenicali said. According to him, this decision will not be reviewed.

The Russian “Match TV” lost the rights to broadcast Formula 1 races on March 10. The channel emphasized that the contract was terminated, despite the fulfillment of all financial and marketing obligations on the Russian side.

On March 3, it became known that Formula 1 terminated the contract for the Russian Grand Prix. The agreement was calculated until 2025. Competitions have been held since 2014.

At the end of February, many sports organizations stopped allowing Russians to compete on the recommendation of the International Olympic Committee. In some disciplines, such as football, hockey, athletics and figure skating, athletes are completely suspended.
