Anna Kiebasiska and Natalia Kaczmarek won their finals, clearly declaring that they want to fight for medals in the final of the European Championships in Munich. At the starting line of the finals, Iga Baumgart-Witan, who started the fight as the only Polish woman, already from the elimination.
Two medals for Poland! The incredible finish of Kiebasiska
Kaczmarek started brilliantly, taking the last straight to 2nd place, just behind Femke Bol. In the last meters, a Pole was chasing, but it was enough for the silver medal. Meanwhile, on the final straight, Kiebasiska did something amazing – although they only come out as 5th, in the last hundred meters they will be able to overtake both the British Ohuruogu and the Irish Adeleke.

It is only the third and fourth medal for this year’s European Athletics Championships for Poland. So far, the gold has been won in the marathon by Aleksandra Lisowska. In the same competition, Polish women won the team bronze medal.
