Expert Koklyaev advised teenagers to train with their own weight at home or on the street
Eight-time Russian weightlifting champion Mikhail Koklyaev revealed the features of training for teenagers. His words leads “Championship”.
The expert advised boys and girls to train with their own weight without weights. “This is dictated by the growth of bones and a weak muscle frame, which, with excessive load and improper exercise, can harm an unprepared body,” he explained.
For boys, the specialist recommended focusing on push-ups and abdominal exercises, using the horizontal bar and bars, for girls – doing squats and stretching, as well as running. Koklyaev noted that you can train at home and on the street, which will be enough with regular and proper exercise.
Koklyaev added that if a teenager has a desire to go to the gym, it is better to hire an instructor. “This will save you from mistakes in execution technique, unnecessary weights, and will help you to understand in general what processes take place in the body during classes and how to shape the body without overloading it unnecessarily,” he said.
Previously, scientists from the University of Victoria, UK, explained the benefits of outdoor sports. Study leader Katherine Boer said that outdoor exercise has a positive effect on mental performance.
