Ukrainian boxer Redkach ridiculed Usyk’s appearance as a Cossack at the battle of looks with Joshua

Ukrainian boxer Ivan Redkach on Instagram (a social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation) ridiculed the appearance of compatriot Oleksandr Usyk in the form of a Zaporozhye Cossack at the battle of views before the fight with Briton Anthony Joshua.

“Clown of pure water. I am not his hater, but I don’t like this, ”the athlete wrote.

On August 17, Usyk appeared before journalists with a characteristic hairstyle and in national clothes. Later, he explained his decision, recalling that the Cossacks are warriors. The duel between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20.

Prior to this, Usyk noted that he does not perceive the new fight as a separate confrontation. According to the Ukrainian, the audience is waiting for the continuation of the first fight, which took place in September 2021.

Usyk holds championship belts according to the World Boxing Organization, the International Boxing Federation, the International Boxing Organization and the World Boxing Association. The Ukrainian heavyweight took the titles from Joshua on September 25, 2021.
