Egyptian ENPPI player Traore missing for three weeks after refusing to come on as a substitute
Egyptian EPPPI and Burkina Faso footballer Eric Traore has gone missing after he refused to come on as a substitute in the national championship match against Aswan on 18 April. It is reported by Reuters.
After the end of the meeting, the player turned off the phone and did not get in touch for three weeks, did not attend training and games. The Cairo Club tried to contact Traore through his wife and agent, but the attempts were unsuccessful.
On May 8, Traore himself got in touch and said that he had not left Cairo all this time. The football player promised to come to the ENPPI location on May 9, the club noted that after a conversation with the midfielder, they would decide on the application of disciplinary sanctions against him.
Traore plays for ENPPI on loan. The African belongs to another Egyptian club, the Pyramids. The winger has one goal in eight matches for Burkina Faso.
