Virginia Diaz the campaign has started on the right foot by achieving gold in the single sculls in the Zagreb World Cup (Croatia). Besides, Izaskun Echaniz has won the silver medal in the coxless four. The Santurtzi shirt, together with Iria Jarama, Maria Frenanda Valencia and Olivia del Castillo, have crossed the finish line in second position with a time of 06:50.93finishing behind the Chilean quartet (06:46.34).
