The game
Juventus did not have an easy game and saw Atalanta control ball possession and risk many more shots. Even so, the home team only hit the opposing goal after finishing 17 times in the match. With that, Juve took the opportunity to be more efficient, take more danger and be superior in the first half. Even so, the 0-0 persisted after 45 minutes.
In the final stage, just after 11 minutes, Juventus opened the scoring with Samuel Iling-Junior hitting from inside the small area after a low cross. After the opening of the scoreboard, the match continued with Atalanta taking little advantage of their chances and Juve having opportunities to extend the advantage. The best chance of a draw was in the 44th minute, when Davide Zappacosta hit the Szczęsny post.
In the last move of the game, to close the account, Vlahović scored a beautiful goal in Juve’s counterattack and settled the match.
