Artem Dziuba’s back-to-back goal against Nizhny Novgorod was recognized as the best in the RPL in April
The goal of Lokomotiv striker Artem Dzyuba was recognized as the best in April in the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was reported on the league’s YouTube channel.
The striker scored with a heel strike in the 15th minute of the match of the 21st round against Nizhny Novgorod. The game took place on April 1 and ended with the victory of Muscovites with a score of 4:0.
In addition to Dziuba, the shortlist of contenders for the goal of the month included Maxim Glushenkov (Lokomotiv), Andrei Langovich (Rostov), Ravil Netfullin (Torpedo), Dmitry Vorobyov and Stepan Oganesyan (both Orenburg), Malcolm (Zenith) and Batchy (Krasnodar). The goal was chosen by voting among commentators, experts and fans.
