Giordano’s Doctor Lists Squats and Lunges as One of the Best Leg Exercises
Physiotherapist Daniel Giordano named the best exercises for the legs. His words are quoted by Forbes Health.
The doctor was the first to single out squats, including on one leg, and lunges, which allow you to strengthen several muscle groups at once. Next, he called the deadlift and steps up. Giordano noted to improve balance, stability and overall leg strength. The specialist also included high jumps, Bulgarian split squats, calf raises, and a glute bridge in the list.
Giordano explained that you need to start with exercises with your own weight, and then gradually add weights to the work. “You should train your legs at least two to three times a week with one rest day between sessions,” he added.
Previously, fitness model Catherine Bark named the best exercises for slender legs. She advised to perform push-ups. “Stand in a plank position with support on your hands and knees. Raise the leg bent at the knee at an angle of 90 degrees up with the heel to the ceiling and lower, ”the girl explained the technique.
