A court in Moscow arrested until July 2 one of the attackers on CSKA basketball player Alexei Shved
The Presnensky Court of Moscow arrested one of the attackers on CSKA basketball player Alexei Shved. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the press service of the court.
“The court granted the investigator’s request to order Gleb Pisarev a preventive measure in the form of detention,” the statement says. He will remain under arrest until July 2.
The Telegram channel of the Moscow prosecutor’s office states that the 19-year-old defendant pleaded not guilty and objected to the chosen measure of restraint.
Earlier on May 5, three attackers of the basketball player were charged under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Hooliganism committed by a group of persons using violence against citizens”). In addition, the identity and location of the fourth participant in the conflict is being established.
The attack on Shved became known on May 2. As a result of a fight at the entrance to a restaurant in the center of Moscow, the basketball player received a head injury. At the hospital, he was also diagnosed with retrograde amnesia, a fracture of the temporal bone, and an epidural hematoma.
