A 26-year-old man has died in Naples, southern Italy, after being shot during celebrations for the title of the Napoli not Italian Championship.
Three people were injured by the shots, which authorities were unable to determine whether they were fired to celebrate the club’s victory or motivated by a criminal act, according to the newspaper. The Corriere della Sera.
After the death was announced, some of the victim’s relatives attacked the emergency unit of the Cardarelli hospital, where the young man was taken with serious injuries. According to the newspaper The printthe victim had connections with the Neapolitan mafia.
The police opened an inquiry to determine the circumstances of the shootings in the historic center of the city.

A total of 203 people were attended by the emergency services of Naples during the celebrations in the city after the confirmation of the title, which Napoli had not won for 33 years.
Some were injured by stab wounds, others suffered burns from fireworks and some people suffered asthma attacks brought on by inhaling smoke from the flares.
Napoli won the Serie A title for the third time in history by drawing 1-1 with Udinese away from home on Thursday, in a match valid for the 33rd round of the Italian championship.
