The investigation brought charges of hooliganism against the defendants in the case of the attack on Alexei Shved
The attackers of the Moscow CSKA basketball player Alexei Shved were charged. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Moscow prosecutor’s office.
“Three defendants in the criminal case were charged under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Hooliganism committed by a group of persons using violence against citizens”). The relevant procedural documents were received by the Presnensky Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office, ”the statement says.
It is noted that the investigation of the criminal case and the location of the accomplice of the accused are under the control of the prosecutor’s office.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the arrest of three suspects in the attack on Shved on May 3. They were men from 17 to 20 years old.
The attack on Shved became known on May 2. As a result of a fight at the entrance to a restaurant in the center of Moscow, the basketball player received a head injury. At the hospital, he was also diagnosed with retrograde amnesia, a fracture of the temporal bone, and an epidural hematoma.
