The Concacaf Champions League, a continental tournament between clubs from North and Central America, had its final set this Wednesday. Los Angeles FC, from the United States, and Club León, from Mexico, will make the decision of the tournament that is worth a place in the Club World Cup.
In the first semifinal, there was a rerun of the last MLS final, with LAFC and Philadelphia Union facing each other once again. After drawing 1-1 away from home, the current champions dispatched their opponents with a 3-0 triumph last Tuesday.
In the fourth, it was León’s turn to take on Tigres in a duel between Mexicans for a place in the final. Having lost 2-1 away from home, the team needed a two-goal victory to qualify, and managed to defeat the rival by 3-1.

The Concachampions final will also take place in two games, with León sending the first leg in Mexico, on May 30, at 23:00 (Brasília time). The return is scheduled for June 3, at the same time, with the command of LAFC.
The tournament will also give a place to the champion in the next edition of the Club World Cup. In the last edition, Seattle Sounders lifted the trophy, but the club from the United States still fell in the quarterfinals in the Fifa competition for Al-Ahly-EGI.
