O Italian Championship returned this weekend, with first-round games kicking off on Saturday. This Sunday, the ball rolls again, with emphasis on the games of the capital’s teams: Lazio and Roma.

At 15:45, Roma face Salernitana away from home. The capital team arrives after winning the UEFA Conference League last season. In addition, the team led by José Mourinho received reinforcements, especially the Argentine Paulo Dybala, who arrives in the squad after defending the colors of Juventus.

Of the two rivals, the one that will be able to play at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome is Lazio. The team receives Bologna at 13:30 (Brasília time), looking to start the competition with three points.

Last season, Lazio finished in fifth place.

Also on Sunday, Fiorentina, owned by Brazilian striker Arthur Cabral, will host Cremonese at 1:30 pm, while Spezia will face Empoli at 3:45 pm.

The round, however, only ends on Monday and with two strong teams on the field. At 1:30 pm, Napoli faces Verona away from home. The Neapolitan team ended last season in third place and once again arrives to fight at the top of the table, despite the departure of defender Koulibaly, who was transferred to Chelsea.

At 15:45, Juventus receive Sassuolo in the game that closes the opening round of the championship. Last season was disappointing for the Old Lady, who placed fourth. This year, however, the club invested heavily in signings and, thus, there is a lot of expectation under the team’s pretensions.
