O French Championship follows this weekend with the second round. After Saturday’s games, Sunday has six matches, with an emphasis on the current French runner-up, Olympique de Marseille, who enters the field at 15:45 (GMT) in search of another victory in the competition.

Now, Marseille’s next challenge will be as a visitor, against Stade Brestois, which debuted with a 3-2 defeat away from home against Lens. Florian Sotoca scored a hat-trick to give the home team the victory. Belkleba and Romain de Castillo came to close the gap, but did not prevent the defeat of Brest.

Lyon would face Lorient away from home, this Sunday, but the game was postponed due to the bad conditions of the home team’s lawn.

Thus, the other games of the day will be between Reims and Clermont, Ajaccio and Lens, Auxerre and Angers and Troyes and Toulouse, all at 10 am. At 12 noon, Nice welcomes Strasbourg.
