Lokomotiv Moscow forward Artem Dzyuba set a Russian Premier League (RPL) record in a match against Khimki. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
The striker hit the gates of the Moscow Region club twice. Thus, he scored the 31st team in the Russian championship. Previously, it was not possible for any player in the league.
The meeting between Lokomotiv and Khimki within the framework of the 25th round ended with a score of 5:1 in favor of the railwaymen. In addition to Dzyuba, Anton Miranchuk, Ivan Ignatiev and Wilson Isidore distinguished themselves in the winning team.
Dzyuba moved to Lokomotiv on February 8. In the 2022/2023 season, he played eight matches for the club in the RPL, in which he scored eight goals and made four assists. From 2015 to 2022, the football player played for Zenit, in which he became the champion of Russia four times.
