Former UFC champion Cormier trolls Khabib Nurmagomedov for the list of 15 best MMA fighters
Former champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Daniel Cormier troll Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov for the list of 15 best fighters in the history of mixed martial arts (MMA). Cormier’s words are quoted by BJ Penn.
“He did not put spaces between names and surnames. He also misspelled the names of five fighters. I like it! Khabib seems to be saying: “Hey, I’ll call you whatever I want!” – Said the ex-champion. He also thanked the Russian for including him in the top five fighters.
On April 13, Nurmagomedov released his top 15 greatest MMA fighters in history. In the first place, he put the Russian Fedor Emelianenko and the American John Jones. In addition to Cormier, the top five also included Canadian Georges St-Pierre, Brazilian Anderson Silva and two Americans, Demetrius Johnson.
Nurmagomedov defended the UFC lightweight title three times, after which he retired. The athlete won 29 victories in 29 professional fights under the rules of MMA. The Russian held his last fight in October 2020, being stronger than the American Justin Gaethje.
