Carlo Ancelotti’s destiny seems to be further and further away from Brazilian Team. After speeches reaffirming the desire to remain in the Real Madridthe Italian coach declared this Monday that he “never spoke to anyone” from the CBF and denied an alleged “deadline” to accept the proposal to coach Brazil.
“I’ve already said that I’m not going to comment on my future (laughs). This deadline (deadline) is silly, because I’ve never spoken to anyone,” said Ancelotti at a press conference.
The Real Madrid coach’s statement goes against the stance adopted by the CBF in the search for a new coach. Last month, President Ednaldo Rodrigues revealed that it hopes to forward the hiring of the new commander by May 25date of the next call-up of the Brazilian national team.
“We are in that situation, which is really moving forward. We are going to look for it and, within the month of May, I believe that even before the national team is called up, we already have a clearer position in relation to the coach of the Brazilian national team”, said Ednaldo Rodrigues, last month.
