Jumbo-Visma wins the team time trial and Henderson is the first leader of the Vuelta

The women’s lap started this Monday with a team time trial in Torrevieja, 14.5 kilometers long, which was won by the cyclists of the Team Jumbo-Vismawhich places the British Anna Henderson as the first leader.
The set of hendersonand the Dutch Marianne Vosone of the candidates for the final triumph, completed the route through the streets of the Alicante town of Torrevieja and with the finish line at Playa de los Locos in a time of 18:03, only surpassing by a second the Canyon//SRAM (18:04). He Trek-Segafredo was third with 18:12 and the Movistar Team of the world champion Annemiek VanVleuten, last to start, fourth with 18:15.
This Tuesday the second stage will be held, starting in Orihuela and arriving in Pilar de la Horadada, two other towns in the province of Alicante. It will be a mainly flat route of 105.8 kilometers in which the Rebate Pass (4th category) will be crowned by the path at kilometer 85.5.
