Danilo scores his second goal in Europe but Forest are beaten by Brentford in the Premier League

Midfielder Danilo scored again this Saturday with the shirt of Nottingham Forest. The Brazilian, who had already scored his first goal on European soil against Brighton last Wednesday, scored again in the 2-1 defeat against Brentford.

Already in the first-half stoppage time, the former Palmeiras player took advantage of the deflection in Gibbs-White’s kick and corrected a kick from inside the area to open the scoring of the match valid for the 34th round of the English Championship.

Despite taking the lead thanks to Danilo’s goal, Forest took the turn from Brentford in the second half. Toney, at 37 minutes, tied the match, while in extra time, Dasilva gave the victory to the home team.

With the result, the Brazilian’s team remains at the bottom of the table, in 17th place with 30 points (one more than Leicester, the first team in the relegation zone). Brentford is in ninth place, with 50 points.

Palace sells classic London; Brighton make six at Wolves

Also for Saturday’s games in English, Crystal Palace opened the round beating West Ham by 4 to 3. Ayew, Zaha, Schlupp and Eze were responsible for the home team’s victory, while Soucek, Antonio and Aguerd scored the visitors’ goals.

The victory made Palace reach 40 points and climb to 11th in the table. West Ham, team of Brazilian Lucas Paquetá, remained in 15th place, with 34 points.

Later, it was Brighton’s turn to take the field and apply a 6-0 thrashing of Wolverhampton. Undav, Welbeck and Gross each scored twice as the southern England side were slaughtered.

Dreaming of a place in European competitions, Brighton has 52 points and occupies the eighth position, while Wolves have an irregular season and are in 13th place, with 37 points.
