Striker Neymar returned to the Training Center of Paris Saint Germain and removed the orthopedic boot this Thursday. The player, who was recovering from ankle surgery at home, will follow treatment at the club’s premises.
According to the statement released by the team, the latest tests carried out by Neymar are “reassuring” and, from now on, he will start a rehabilitation protocol.
Neymar had the surgery a month and a half ago and has not been on the pitch since February 19. On the occasion, PSG beat Lille by 4 to 3, for French Championship.
Shortly after the match, the team announced that the Brazilian would have to undergo surgery and would be out for the rest of the season.
In the 2022/23 period, Neymar played 29 games in all, not counting the World Cup dispute. For the French team, led by Christophe Galtier, the player scored 19 goals and provided 16 assists.
