The course offers opportunities for many runners; For the six days of competition, the organization of the Tour de Romandie has prepared two time trials (the 6.8-kilometre prologue and a 18.7-kilometre stage), a summit finish at more than 2,000 meters of altitude, two days of medium mountain and a day in which the sprinters can show their form in the final meters.

In addition to the cyclists already mentioned, the presence in the Tour de Romandie of Egan Bernal (Ineos), Matteo Jorgenson (Movistar), Alexey Lutsenko (Astana) or Thibaut Pinot (Groupama)among others.

According to the forecasts, the general will be decided with the Châtel-St-Denis time trial, of 18.7 km, this Friday, and with the queen stage, on Saturday, with the finish line at Thyon 2000, after a long climb of 21 kilometers that they present a 7.6% average slope; before the runners must overcome another four ports and a drop of more than 4300 meters.
