With a goal scored by Vinícius Jr., Real Madrid thrashed Granada by Espanyol

This Sunday, Granada and Real Madrid faced each other for the 14th round of the Spanish Championship. Away from home, Carlo Ancelotti’s men thrashed 4-1, with goals from Marco Asensio, Nacho Fernández, Vinícius Jr. and Ferland Mendy. Luis Suarez cashed for the owners of the house.

With the result, the meringues continue at the top of the table, with 30 points. Robert Moreno’s team is in 18th place, with 11.

In the next round, Real Madrid will host Sevilla, on Sunday (11/28), at 5 pm (GMT). Granada, in turn, will visit Athletic Bilbao, on Friday, at the same time.

The game – In the first half, the visitors took the lead in the 19th minute. Marco Asensio took advantage of a great pass and hit the left corner of the goal.

Six minutes later, Real Madrid expanded. Toni Kroos fixed for Nacho Fernández, who hit from close range with no chance for the goalkeeper.

At 34, the owners of the house reduced the score. Luis Suarez risked from a distance, the ball swerved and landed in the back of Courtois’ nets.

In the second stage, at 11 minutes, the meringues returned to have two goals ahead. Luka Modric used Vinícius Júnior in a counterattack, and the Brazilian revealed by Flamengo sent him to the back of the net.

At 22, Monchu, from Granada, was sent off after a tough tackle. Coach Robert Moreno also ended up getting a red card shortly thereafter.

And Real Madrid scored the fourth goal at 31. Ferland Mendy received a short pass from Casemiro, dodged the marker and kicked into the right corner.
