The game – Manchester City dominated the first stage and went to the locker rooms with an advantage on the scoreboard. From the beginning, the team commanded by Guardiola never tired of attacking. At 27, Palmer passed between Everton’s defenders and found Bernardo Silva free to mark. The Portuguese tried the kick for coverage, but Pickford managed to stop. Then Gundogan appeared to head and sent it over the goal, with the ball passing close to the crossbar.

Six minutes later a penalty was awarded in favor of City. After reviewing the VAR, the referee decided to cancel the appointment, but the team was not shaken. At 43, after an attempt at lifting in the area, João Cancelo caught the ball and gave a beautiful trivela pass for Sterling to debut the score.

In the second half, nothing different. On minute nine, after Allan left, Rodri took the leftover and dropped a first-rate bomb to extend the advantage.

To close, Gundogan made a good individual play and passed to Palmer. The attacker tried the kick, which was left for Bernardo Silva to decree the 3-0.
