Brest makes three in the first half and thrashes Lens for the French

This Sunday, Brest and Lens faced each other for the 14th round of the French Championship. Playing at home, Michel Der Zakarian’s team thrashed 4-0, with goals from Steve Mounie, Brendan Chardonnet, Romain Faivre and Jeremy Le Douanon.

With the result, the hosts of the match move up to 13th place, with 15 points. Frank Haise’s team remains in third place momentarily, with 24.

In the next round, Brest will visit Bordeaux, on Sunday (11/28), at 11 am (GMT). Lens, in turn, receives Angers, on Friday, at 5 pm (GMT).

The game – In the first half, with just over half an hour of play, it was already 3-0 for Brest. On minute three, Steve Mounie received a cross and opened the scoring.

Then, at 13, Brendan Chardonnet headed the ball into the back of the net, scoring the second goal, after a corner kick.

At 33, Romain Faivre made the third. The player dominated the pass from the edge of the area and sent with style in the left corner.

In the second stage, Jeremy Le Douaron made another one for Brest. The athlete received inside the area and sent the angle.
