Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is no longer Manchester United manager. The Norwegian was fired from command of the team this Sunday, after a rout against Watford, in the English Championship.
“Ole will always be a legend at Manchester United and it’s with regret that we come to this difficult decision. While the past few weeks have been disappointing, they shouldn’t overshadow all the work he’s done over the past three years to rebuild the foundation for the success of long term,” United said in an official statement.
Michael Carrick will be in charge of commanding the Red Devils in upcoming games. The club is looking to hire an interim coach until the end of the season, according to the official statement released.
Manchester United can confirm that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left his role as Manager.
Thank you for everything, Ole ❤️#MUFC
