Zverev knocks Djokovic down and meets Medvedev in final

German tennis player Alexander Zverev has eliminated this Saturday the number one in the world, the Serbian Novak Djokovic (7-6(4), 4-6, 6-3) to advance to the end of the ATP Finals, which are being disputed in Turin, and will fight for the title of ‘teacher’ with the Russian Daniil Medvedev, who gave no option (6-4, 6-2) to the Norwegian Casper Ruud and that he will seek to revalidate the trophy.

The Balkan missed a set point in the opening set and saw the German go ahead with his victory in the tie-break.

However, a lonely break in the ninth game of the second set allowed him to equalize the contest and force the final third set. In it, Zverev went 3-1 and defended himself from a break point at 4-2, before sealing his victory. With this, he frustrated Djokovic’s dream of drawing with Roger Federer by conquering his sixth title of ‘masters’.
