Cristiano Ronaldo wants Zidane as his new coach at Al-Nassr, reveals newspaper

Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr fired coach Rudi Garcia last week and is looking for a new commander to occupy the position. According to Marca, Cristiano Ronaldo wants Zinedine Zidane to be his next coach.

Multi-champions by Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zidane formed a successful partnership for three seasons. While the Portuguese striker was the great star and top scorer of the team, the French coach put together one of the strongest teams in history.

Between 2016 and 2018, Real Madrid won three Champions Leagues in a row, two Spanish Championshipstwo King’s Cups, two European Super Cups and two Club World Cup. Under Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo broke several goal scoring records and was named the best player in the world twice.

Currently, Crisitano Ronaldo is playing in Saudi football and wants to reunite with his former coach to win the national competition. Al-Nassr occupies second place in the Saudi Championship, three points behind Al-Ittihad, who lead the tournament with 56 points.

Zidane has been free on the market since 2021, when he left Real Madrid in his second spell at the club. The name of the Frenchman has already been speculated in charge of several teams such as Pais Saint GermainFrench national team and even Brazilian Team.
