The condition of Olympic champion in ice dancing Roman Kostomarov, who is in the hospital for the third month, has improved significantly. It is reported by RBC with reference to sources.

Now he feels good,” he said. Another source added that the 46-year-old is spending Easter surrounded by family and friends.

Earlier on April 16, it became known that the children of Kostomarov visited their father for the first time at the Kommunarka clinic. Before that, only his wife Oksana Domnina was allowed into the ward.

On March 28, it became known that doctors managed to stop the spread of necrosis in Kostomarov’s body, cerebral circulation also returned to normal. In addition, it was reported that the athlete is being prepared for prosthetics.

Kostomarov was hospitalized on 10 January. According to Moskovsky Komsomolets, the figure skater was amputated with both feet, then the shins of both legs, the entire right hand, and several fingers of the left hand.
