Is Sergio Agüero retiring? FC Barcelona says no decision has been made yet

This Saturday information emerged indicating that ‘Kun’ had decided to withdraw.

Sergio Agüero is in a three-month process of treating his heart problems and FC Barcelona has explained to the agency Efe that no decision has yet been made about the future of the Argentine forward’s professional career after reports that he has already opted for retirement.

The last statement about Agüero, Barça issued it on November 1 and in it it was reported that the footballer would be out for three months, in which “the effectiveness of the treatment to determine his recovery process” would be evaluated.

“This communiqué is still valid. The news is false. To the When He still lacks time to carry out this follow-up and when these three months are finished, it will be seen ”, they assured Efe FC Barcelona sources.

The concern began when the Barça player had to retire before the end of the first part of the LaLiga match against Alavés on October 30 due to a chest discomfort that was later detected to have been caused by a cardiac arrhythmia.

Since then, the tests that Agüero has undergone have not brought good news and have forced the 33-year-old player to have to undergo treatment and leave the pitch for at least three months.

Agüero, who in his career has also played with Independiente de Avellaneda, Atlético de Madrid and Manchester City, signed in the last transfer market for Barça and has only been able to play 165 minutes spread over five duels and score one goal, which he scored against Real Madrid, due to a tendon injury in the inner calf of his right leg.
