Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates) is the top seed to claim the victory due to the absences of Wout van Aert (Jumbo Visma) and Mathieu van der Poel (Alepcin-Fenix). In addition, the range of possible winners is open to the following cyclists: Tiesj Benoot (Jumbo), Cosnefroy (Ag2r Citroên), Richard Carapaz (EF Education), Sergio Higuita (Bora), Romain Bardet (DSM), Dadiv Gaudu (Groupama) and Mohoric (Bahrain Victorious).
