The athlete shared that, speaking in the 2005/2006 season for the Portland Trail Blazers, he earned one million dollars. “Taxes are 50 percent. Plus, it was necessary to pay a penalty to CSKA for the early termination of the contract, ”added Monya and clarified that he eventually received 350 thousand dollars.
Monya is the bronze medalist of the 2012 Olympic Games as part of the Russian team. He also has gold and bronze medals at the European Championships.
