Reus decides, Dortmund beat Stuttgart to take second at Alemão

This Saturday, Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart entered the field for the 12th round of the German Championship. At Signal Iduna Park, Marco Rose’s men won 2-1, with goals from Donyell Malen and Marco Reus. Roberto Massimo made a discount for visitors.

With the result, the aurinegros are in the vice-leadership, with 27 points. Stuttgart is in 16th position, with 10.

In the next round, Borussia Dortmund visit Wolfsburg, next Saturday, at 11:30 am (GMT). Stuttgart, in turn, will host Mainz 05, on Friday, at 4:30 pm (GMT).

The game – In the initial stage, the home team arrived with danger in the 14th minute. The cross went past the goalkeeper and into the head of Donyell Malen, but the ball went out.

At 28, Stuttgart missed a great chance. Tanguy Coulibaly hit solid from the first, and Gregor Kobel had to stretch to make a good save.

In the second half, the goals were scored. Malen finished from the edge of the area and had a detour to open the scoring for Dortmund, on 11 minutes.

At 18, the visitors reached a draw. Roberto Massimo got a good individual play and sent it to Kobel’s left corner.

Shortly thereafter, Manuel Akanji nearly put Dortmund ahead again. The defender hit from a distance, and the ball landed on the crossbar.

At 40, Marco Reus decided to leave. The attacker arrived faster on the rebound and sent it to the back of the net.
