Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Alexander Emelianenko explained the appearance on his social networks of old pictures, where he was captured with his brother Fedor Emelianenko. He spoke about this in an interview with BOSTANOF MMA on YouTube.
The 40-year-old heavyweight admitted that he does not miss his older brother. Emelianenko stressed that they can often be seen in old photographs together, because both fighters have often trained together in the past. The heavyweight posted a number of pictures on Instagram.
“I asked my younger brother Ivan to collect these retrospectives and scan them so that they would not disappear,” he added. Emelianenko also said that he had already tried to contact Fedor. “If he wants to talk, he will call himself. I’ve already called him, ”the heavyweight noted.
On November 18, it became known that Emelianenko would again perform according to the MMA rules. He will replace Vyacheslav Vasilevsky at the Fight Nights Global tournament scheduled for November 27. The Russian heavyweight will fight the Brazilian Marcio Santos.
Emelianenko has not fought in professional MMA since the summer of 2020. Then he lost by knockout to compatriot Magomed Ismailov.
